We’re looking forward to seeing you at our next AGM in 2023. We’ve had to make a change to our original Glasgow venue plans. Here are the confirmed details for the 2023 event.

• Pre-Conference Dinner: Thursday 18th May

UPDATE: During the October Business Update a concern was raised regarding the non-refundable upfront hotel booking payment at Wychwood Park.  As advised a negotiated corporate rate was agreed with the hotel and this was subject to a non-refundable payment being made at the point of booking.  In order that no attendees are out of pocket Health Shield will fully reimburse any accommodation costs in the event of a cancellation.  Please book the required accommodation at Wychwood Park in the normal way and then if you cannot make the event, just send in a copy of your booking confirmation along with a brief explanation as to why you can no longer attend to Christiana Baldry at cbaldry@healthshield.co.uk and the reimbursement will be arranged.

Why the change in venue?

The reason for the change from Glasgow, as was originally planned is because it was announced the city had become the front-runner to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 during the same time period. This means that all accommodation and travel costs have risen considerably with limited availability. If the venue was confirmed as Glasgow the situation would only get worse in terms of costs to attend. The Board had to make a quick decision to secure an alternative venue and booked Wychwood Park.
